Backup & Restore Points

Top  Previous  Next

This is an extremely useful tool which can be used easily go back to different points of your studies. An example of it's use is as follows.

1.When you first start testing there will probably be words that you know and are sure you will never forget. This can be removed by clicking the  remove button remove button during testing. Go through each category until you have banked all the words and then create a backup (restore point) with the description "After removing easy words" as shown in the picture below.
2.Reset banked words and then start testing again. If you feel you are sure you know some of the words but they are the kind of words you may forget in future you can always go back to this restore point. An example of this is if you go to Spain on holiday every year and are using WordBanker to brush up on your vocabulary.
3.Once you have banked all the words that are first installed with WordBanker you could download some free extra word lists from our website. You can then continue testing creating new restore points as you go along.

Another example of creating restore points is if you change from one testing method to another. For example you maybe sure of words when using the multiple choice testing but after changing to "Hear Word" testing you may not be so sure of some words. In that case it would be a good idea to create a backup called "Before changing to hear word testing"
