Standard Categories

Editing Words in Standard Categories.

It can be very frustrating learning words only to find out that the region you travel to changes those words slightly or even use completely different ones. For this reason you might like to edit words in the standard categories to suit your situation.

To edit a word simply select it, and you will see the cursor move to the first text box. Make the changes you want and then click "Save".

Remember if you edit a standard word the original recording may not match the new word so if you are using the "Hear Word" test type the sound will not match the word. If you want the recording to match you will need to delete the original word and add a new word and recording,

If you are having problems with recording click "Tools > Test Microphone" . The most common problem is the microphone is muted or set too low in windows mixer

Recording Words

Words can be recorded at the time of adding them or you can go back later to record the words later. If you are not happy with a recording or want to change it then just click the record button and it will record over the previous recording
