Test Types

WordBanker offers you 3 different types of testing listed below in their order of difficulty.

Multiple Choice

You will be show an English word and then given a choice of up to 20 foreign words to choose from, one of which is the correct translation

Hear Word

You will be show a foreign word and then given a choice of up to 20 words in your language to choose from, one of which is the correct translation.

Type the answer

You will be shown an English word and you must type the translation in the box provided.

Even people fluent in a language often find it difficult to write. This testing method is ideal for improving written languages.

Although this is the hardest method to use, if you have the patience it is probably the most effective. You get no visual clue (as with multiple choice methods) and so the process typing the word is more likely to make you remember it.

To select a test type, go the main menu and select "Test Type" from the menu bar at the top. The test type will remain the same until you change it.
