One of the most important thing about learning a language is the amount of time you spend studying which is why the WordBanker timekeeping facility is so invaluable. When you first install WordBanker you will see the following window:-
Time Select the time (in minutes) you hope to spend practising every day. Try not to be too ambitious and select a time you feel you can comfortably keep to. Remember if you miss one day then you will have to make up the time in the future to keep within your average.
Please Note If there is no mouse or keyboard movement within 10 seconds or you switch to another program the clock will stop ticking. This is in case you get distracted by something else.
When testing it is best not to think too long before answering. If the translation doesn't come quickly to you click "Show Answer" and go onto the next word. As you gradually go through the rounds and sessions the words will automatically come to you more quickly.
Weeks It is best to judge your progress over set periods. If you are going on holiday in 2 weeks and are using WordBanker as to brush up the language then set the period for 2 weeks. If you are commiting to learning a language properly then you would be better to set longer periods and judge your progress at the end of each period.
On the main menu you will see this summary
The amount of time you have practised today
Average The average daily time you have practiced during this period
Balance The amount of time needed to in order keep within your target practice time.
